The Portrait of a Kitty
While my portrait of Burble the Cat may not be as dramatic as Henry James’, The Portrait of a Lady, it is of similar importance in my estimation. For this image is fused with personality and captures the very questions at the forefront of every cat’s mind.
“What do you want?” it seems to say.
“Are we done here or do you have more treats for me?”
“I don’t wish to claw you but I must insist on you feeding me.”
And if I’m on the subject of cats, which, clearly I am, I must include this video of Henri. I have watched it on several occasions and it never fails to produce a chuckle.
