Pet Portraits

I’m a crazy dog person so it’s totally natural that I would work on dog and pet portraits. I do all pets, not just dogs. But people seem to really like the dogs – hence this gallery. If you’d like a portrait done, please see my commissions page for details.

I love working on commissions. I get to do things that I wouldn’t ordinarily do and I enjoy the challenge of that. If you’d like something, check out my commissions page and get in touch.

British Pop Art

I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t fascinated with Britain. It started with the language. The accent is great to be sure but I just love their vocabulary! That particular joy started young as I remember how much I loved reading Roald Dahl as a kid. And when I got a bit older, Jane Austen made her way into

Daisy and Rose

Daisy and Rose went home the other day. I really enjoyed working on these ladies. I photoshopped two different images to create this composition and it was a large format portrait. Sometimes, bigger is better.

Gort and Sophie

I took these portraits to their new home yesterday and I decided to bring my dog Bennet with me because it was such a nice day and she’d been cooped up in the house for a while. I’ve done this before and we’ve never had a problem. Well, yesterday was a different day. I went to ring the doorbell, met

Meet Tyson. He’s just about the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen. He lives in Richmond Virginia and I was lucky enough to create this portrait for his mamma. I never used the word mamma in the whole of my life (except when I was maybe 2 or so) but when I got a dog I became mamma. I don’t
