I love working on commissions. I get to do things that I wouldn’t ordinarily do and I enjoy the challenge of that. If you’d like something, check out my commissions page and get in touch.
I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t fascinated with Britain. It started with the language. The accent is great to be sure but I just love their vocabulary! That particular joy started young as I remember how much I loved reading Roald Dahl as a kid. And when I got a bit older, Jane Austen made her way into
Here I thought I was being so clever with the pug life pun. Oh how silly I was. There are literally thousands of them. One of my faves is below. And I have to admit, I kind of love them all. It’s so silly how we anthropomorphise our animals. I do it all the time and it never gets boring.
I was so happy to create this portrait of Olive for Barbara. This sweet chocolate lab is an older girl – 14 in fact – and her pose and posture are representative of that fact that she’s having a harder time sitting up lately. We’re all going to get old someday. I can only hope I can do it
The Montclair Pop Up Market was so much fun. The weather was beautiful and I can’t get over the great crowd. Thank you to everyone that came out. I really do appreciate all the support! The design concept that we came up with was white flowers with turquoise and peacock feathers, glittery butterflies and gold draping beads from each centerpiece. I was thrilled with how everything turned out. See for yourself!
Hey there all your cowpokes. (I don’t know why I just said that.) I’ll be participating in the CBA Fine Art Show and Sale coming up on February 8th and 9th. It’s in Lincroft, NJ and it promises to be a good one. They’ve been doing the show for 39 years, so they know what they’re doing. I’ve got some
